Practical Life

Activities of everyday living which are performed in this area lay the foundation for life skills the child needs to develop for his or her independence. The child learns to take care of himself and his environment. Among the many activities a child may practice pouring - dry & liquid, sweep a floor, practice cutting, or wash, peel and cut a carrot to share share with his/her friends.

The sequential and well prepared activities help the child to develop order, concentration, control of movement and independence needed to work in the sensorial, math and language areas.
